# Built in a real workshop.

MGX Technology builds the workshop system MGX ERP and the key-free golf car rental GolfService Keyless. We are based in Gävle, Sweden, and everything we make is tested in a working workshop before it reaches a customer.

Our story

## From an old system to our own.

MGX ERP started at Marin Service Gruppen in Gävle, an authorised Yamaha workshop for outboards, motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles and golf cars.

The workshop was fed up with its old, outdated system. It was built for clicking, the data was locked behind a closed interface and technicians wrote on paper that someone typed in again in the evening. Instead of shopping around, we built a system around how the workshop actually works.

The result was work orders done in several sessions, vehicles with several engines and their full service history, winter storage, key cabinets and insurance claims in the same system. Then came the AI assistant, which can do the same things as the person at the computer.

Today MGX ERP is used by more workshops, and GolfService Keyless lets golf clubs rent out Yamaha Drive2 golf cars without keys and without a front desk.

How we work

## Three things we don’t compromise on.

1. ### Tested on real work orders

   Every feature runs in a working workshop before release. Whatever doesn’t hold up on a hectic day in April gets cut.
2. ### Your data is yours

   Every customer gets its own system with its own database and can always take its data out.
3. ### A person takes the last step

   The AI assistant prepares, but never sends anything to the customer, never approves on the customer’s behalf and never invoices.

## Built on the workshop floor.

MGX ERP is developed in direct collaboration with the people who use it every day. By building the needs of day-to-day operations into the system, we make sure it is fully optimised for the reality on the workshop floor.
