What a marine workshop needs
An ordinary workshop system is built for cars. A marine workshop has boats with two engines, a winter full of storage and a spring when everything goes in the water the same week.
The boat and its engines sit on the customer, each with its own engine hours and service interval. The system knows when the next service is due, and the history follows the boat even when it changes owner.
Winter spots and halls, key cabinets and drop-off documents when the customer leaves the boat. Any deviations are logged at hand-over in the spring.
Out of storage and washed on Monday, serviced on Thursday, launched on Friday. All on one work order, with different technicians, planned day by day.
Parts are picked from stock to the work order. Purchase needs are worked out, and price lists in EUR are converted to SEK at today’s rate. Bulk oil and consumables are included.
Grounding or propeller damage: damage report, photos and the split between insurer and customer on the same claim. The customer can upload photos through a link.
